I bought this DVD drive to install programs on my netbook.I looked at some off brands but the reviews were mixed so I went with the Samsung.Im glad that I did not. It is exactly what it was promised to be.Very easy to use - just plug and play. The driver software installed automatically and it was ready to go in a couple of minutes.I could not be happier and the price of $ 50 or grievance has been a godsend..
