This macro lens performs at the level of its price. It isn't a $500.macro lens. It is a screw-on adapter that magnifies the image of your current lens.There may be vignetting in the corners of the image depending on the enlargement. This can easily be cropped out.The shallow depth of focus of the field due to a bit difficult. These points may seem negative but they are an honest review.I can not afford a $ 500. macro so this is an excellent bargain for me.I used these cameras with film and now with my DSLR. For insects, flowers, and small details, you can't beat it..
